Il Nido ("The Nest") is a brand new house, English owned, and tastefully decorated to a very high standard. The house faces South in a glorious setting that commands superb views overlooking the Apuane mountains in the northern part of Tuscany.
The extensive garden that faces South, falls away towards the view of the breathtaking Apuane mountain range.Il Nido is in the village of Amola, 3km from Monti, a busy small town, well equipped with all varieties of shops from grocery, bakery, and fish to pharmacy.
THE VILLA FOR RENTAL
The accomodation comprise four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a very spacious living room with double doors which open onto the terrace.
South facing terrace and balconies with pool.
RENTAL ACCOMMODATION
There are four double bedrooms, one of which is twin bedded, one is downstairs. The settee in the lounge also opens into a double bed, so the house can sleep up to 10 people, and is served by 2 bathrooms.
LOCATION
The villages nearby include Bagnone, Licciana Nardi, Comano and Crespiano, where there is a wealth of restaurants to tempt your appetite, and the opportunity to savour a full course meal for as little as Euros 18 per person, including wine and a grappa, of course.
The coastline of Lerice and on the Cinque Terre can be reached in less than half an hour, which provided the inspiration to Byron and Shelly.
